Il 4 novembre 1997 Pietro Consagra (1920-2005) svela una delle sue ultime opere: quattro colonne in marmo alte oltre cinque metri riprendono la figura di Giano, dio venerato nell’antica Roma e caratterizzato dalla bifrontalità ripresa dallo sculture in chiave moderna.
On the 4th Novembre 1997 Pietro Consagra (1920-2005) has unveiled in Roma one of his last work: four marble columns, with a high of five meters, refer to the Figre of Giano, a god venerated in the ancient Rome and characterized by the double face, aspect that Consagra translates in a modern way.
