Si è inaugurata il 4 giugno scorso una doppia mostra dedicata all’opera in tessuto di Louise Bourgeois e all’Emilio Vedova più scultoreo: i due, che apparentemente sembrerebbero distanti, comunicano in realtà attraverso una dialettica spaziale. La sapiente curatela di G. Celant lascia emergere il rapporto di entrambi con una dimensionalità invertita: il gigantismo di Maman o di un disco di Vedova enfatizza sia i dettagli delle stesse che le sculture di più piccole dimensioni. È  certamente una mostra poetica che cade a pochi giorni dalla scomparsa dell’artista newyorchese e che ne mette in mostra proprio l’aspetto meno conosciuto, e forse più “femminile”, dei suoi “patchwork” optical. Last 4th June the Vedova Foundation has inaugurated a double exhibition dedicated to the fabric woks by  Louise Bourgeois and to the most plastic aspect of Emilio Vedova: the two artists, that in appearance seems quite distant, find a link in the relation with the space. The reversed behavior with the dimensions – the gigantism of Maman or of the Vedova’s disk emphasizes both the same details both the smaller sculptures.
