Si è da poco conclusa Anton’s memory, la delicata mostra di Yoko Ono che Nora Halpern ha curato per la Bevilacqua La Masa di Venezia. Da instancabile sperimentatrice, Ono indaga anche le categorie della scultura: Touch me III (2008-2009) è il titolo – e l’invito – della versione in marmo di un precedente lavoro che, come spesso accade, ha come soggetto il corpo stesso dell’artista. Dal più tradizionale Play it by trust (1996-1997), una perfetta scacchiera di marmo, al letto su cui poggia una Bibbia, alla gabbia che raccoglie i pensieri dei visitatori, tutto è immerso in un costante e piacevole cinguettio.

Anton’s memory, delicate exhibition by Yoko Ono and cured by Nora Halpern for the Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice, has just closed some days ago. As an indefatigable tester, Ono investigates the scuplture categories, too:  Touch me III (2008-2009) is the title – and the invite also – of the marble previous version that, as usual, has the artist body as main subject. From the most traditional Play it by trust (1996-1997), a perfect marble chessboard to the bed with the Bible till the cage that keeps the thoughts by the visitors, everything is wrapped by a pleasant twitter.
